Andrea Rusher, LCSW
Andrea Rusher is a committed therapist who is personally and professionally dedicated to providing hope and healing to people who are struggling with a variety of issues. Andrea believes each person can achieve his or her highest potential in order to live a healthy and fulfilled life. She fosters a safe and comfortable environment in order for individuals to begin the healing process and achieve their unique and personal goals.
Some of Andrea’s specialties include addiction and codependency recovery; trauma and PTSD resolution through EMDR, Psychodrama therapy and Clinical Hypnosis; eating disorders; relationship issues; anxiety and depression; grief and loss; conflict resolution and family of origin/ACOA issues. Andrea believes that through empowerment and encouragement, people can begin to live a fully satisfied life.
Andrea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been in the field of mental health and addictions for multiple consecutive years. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2010 and her licensure with the state of Florida in May of 2012. She has comprehensive experience in the treatment industry with areas of focus in both clinical and management/leadership skills. She has provided psychotherapy to individuals, families, couples and groups in a variety of clinical settings. She has also had the honor to lead both clinical and operational teams as the Director in several leading treatment centers in the area. Andrea is a Certified Clinical Supervisor for Social Work Interns and enjoys teaching new therapists how to reach their potential in developing therapeutic skills.
Andrea treats age groups ranging from children to older adults. She provides services to individuals, couples and families.
